Trompe
Loeil Oak Panel
This particular faux bois
(false wood) has been the most widely imitated wood in the
last two centuries. Reaching its zenith during the late
Victorian era, oak graining is once again very popular.
Oak is ideally suited for numerous projects such as metal
doors, radiator covers, interior woodwork and painted furniture.

Teak
Because
our rain forests are in danger, teak wood is a perfect candidate
for the grainer. Like many tropical woods, teak is sought
after for its durability, unique color and distinctive grain
pattern. In many ways it resembles oak but the observant
student will quickly notice the subtle variations that make
this wood different from any other.
